Meet our Founder

Dan is an accomplished strength and conditioning coach and exercise physiologist, bringing a wealth of experience, particularly from his six years in the Royal Australian Air Force. During his tenure here, he spearheaded a specialised physical conditioning and injury mitigation program for fighter pilots at RAAF Base Amberley. His primary objective was to prepare these elite individuals for the rigorous physical demands experience in high-performance fighter jets, with a specific focus on reducing the risk of neck and low back injuries associated with G-forces.

During Dan’s involvement in the fighter pilot conditioning program, outstanding results were achieved in which the prevalence of neck and low back pain were reduced significantly. Dan’s strategic and holistic approach along with his friendly demeanour underscored the engagement of the fighter pilots in the program he delivered and contributed to the effectiveness in addressing the specific challenges faced by fighter pilots.

Dan’s commitment to excellence extends to his academic background, where he holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science, Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology and Master of High Performance Sport. This unique combination of practical experience and educational knowledge positions Dan as a trusted professional in optimising physical performance and reducing the risk of injury among different populations.

What Some of Our Customers are Saying

"I can highly recommend Dan as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Exercise Physiologist. Over many years he leveraged his practical experience and academic knowledge to enhance the performance of our Royal Australian Air Force fighter aircrew. His group and individual programs were tailored to our aircrews' specific needs. He monitored their physical performance and well-being carefully, proactively adapting his programs to maximise their performance in the air while minimising the risk of injury. Dan rapidly built rapport with our aircrew and quickly became an integral part of our team. His efforts reduced the injury rate of our aircrew, increased their availability, and enhanced their ability to perform within the high-pressured air combat environment."

Sean H

Fighter Pilot

"At the start of my fast jet training it became apparent pretty quickly that my lean body type was not very compatible with the high G environment, in particular my neck. Dan quickly assessed this and developed a 12 week program to improve my resistance, reduce recovery times and give me the muscle endurance to get through the 12 month training course as well as the tools to continuously improve my muscle endurance throughout the rest of my career. Without the program the risk of injury was so high I'm sure some serious permanent damage would have occurred."
